How do we clean our screens?
If the screens are not cleaned during its service life, or is cleaned only irregularly or improperly, this
accelerates the soiling process. Depending on the influencing conditions, this in turn may lead to
irreparable surface defects and even to a complete loss of decorative appearance.
- Only clean water, with slight additives of neutral washing agents (pH 7), is to be used with the aid of soft, non-abrasive cloths, rags or industrial cotton
- the removal of greasy, oily or sooty substances can take place with the use of white spirit free of aromatic compounds or isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Residues of adhesives, silicone cartouche or adhesive tapes, etc., can also be removed in this way.
- use no solvents or similar, containing ester, ketones, polyhydric alcohol, aromatics, ethylene glycol
or halogenated hydrocarbon. - use no scratching, abrasive agents.
- use no strong acids or alkaline detergents.
- use no detergents of unknown compositions.
- detergents must not be used at temperatures higher than a maximum of 25°C.
- the surface temperature must not exceed 25°C during cleaning.
- the maximum exposure period of these detergents must not exceed one hour: when necessary, the entire cleaning process can be repeated after at least 24 hours.
- rinsing with clean cold water is to take place immediately after every cleaning process.
- Fine-textured effects: Use fiber-free cloths. Moderate mechanical support may be given to the
cleaning operation using a soft, non-surface-damaging brush

Does this block the wind from flowing through the window?
No. Our Monkey and Flyscreens are designed to allow airflow, albeit slightly reduced.
How much does it cost?
Our window and door screens are custom made to fit each door or window measurement. Measurements are taken by our team during an onsite visit and a quote will then provided.
I have a coastal property, will the door or window mesh rust?
All materials used are resistant to UV and corrosion, making them ideal for coastal properties.
Will my window screen obstruct my view?
The meshing within the window screen is made from a coated uPVC interwoven fibre glass mesh which is virtually invisible, allowing an unobstructed view yet protecting you and your interior from pesky intruders.
Will the door or window screen fit the aesthetic of my premises?
Our window and door screens are manufactured to custom measurements to fit perfectly into the necessary aperture and are available to order in the full range of powder-coated colours.
Will these fit my windows?
Our window screens come in standard sizes for steel windows and custom sizes for aluminium, PVC and wooden windows. What if somebody walks into the door screen?
As our door screens are made from a pet-resistant mesh designed to withstand the most persistent of pets or pesky intruders, have an optional mid-rail, and the outer frame is secured against the existing door frame they are extremely sturdy and will suffer little if any damage if someone runs or walks into them. The likely hood of someone walking into the door screen is quite minimal as it is not completely transparent like a glass sliding door. This should alert most that there is in fact a screen that needs to be opened prior to walking through the doorway.
Can the security screens replace burglar bars?
Yes, our security doors are manufactured with optimal security and protection in mind. We use 316 Marine grade stainless steel security mesh with a unique fastening system – a combination of chemical and mechanical bonds making them highly secure. The door frames are constructed from pre-treated aluminium, utilising a high-strength cornering system for added durability.
What do I do if the mesh of the window or door screens becomes damaged?
The mesh can be replaced at any time without compromising the product.
Will the door screen be damaged if my dog scratches it to be let in or out?
The mesh used on the door screens is pet resistant. It is designed to withstand dogs, monkeys, cats and more scratching against the door.
Will the door and window screens be approved by my housing estate?
Our screens have been approved by numerous housing estates, retirement villages and residential customers.
